Terms of Use
Last updated 13 October 2026
These terms apply to the MiniRemote apps for Mac, iPhone and iPad, the miniremote.app server and this website. They're an agreement between you and Igor Duspara, who develops and runs MiniRemote (“we”). By using MiniRemote you accept them.
Your license
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use MiniRemote for personal and business purposes, under these terms.
- Free: controlling a Mac from devices on the same network. The viewer apps are always free.
- Pro and Lifetime add connections from other networks and AI agents (MCP) on the Mac where the license key is activated. One key works on up to 3 Macs at a time.
- Don't share, resell or publish license keys, get around the license checks, or reverse engineer the apps except where the law allows it.
Using MiniRemote responsibly
- Only control Macs that you own or are allowed to control. Anyone with a Mac's Host ID and password can connect to it, so keep the password to yourself and change it if it gets out.
- Don't use MiniRemote for anything illegal, to access other people's computers or data without permission, or to attack, overload or misuse our server.
- When you connect an AI agent, it acts on your Mac with your permissions. You're responsible for what you let it do.
- We may block Host IDs or devices that are used to abuse the service.
Purchases, subscriptions and refunds
Pro and Lifetime are sold by Creem as merchant of record. Creem's terms apply to the purchase itself: payment, taxes, invoices and refunds. Prices are shown at checkout, including tax.
- Pro is a subscription, billed monthly or yearly. It renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time using the link in Creem's emails; Pro then stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Lifetime is a one-time payment. It doesn't expire and includes Pro's features and updates for as long as we offer MiniRemote.
- If a subscription ends, is refunded or isn't paid, the Mac goes back to Free. Same-network connections keep working.
- If we change the price of a subscription, we'll tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then.
- Your statutory rights as a consumer, including any right of withdrawal, aren't affected.
The service
Connections from other networks, online status and license checks use our server. We work to keep it available but can't promise it will never be interrupted, for example during maintenance. Same-network connections don't depend on it. We may improve and change MiniRemote, including what the Free plan includes, but we won't take away paid features during a period you've paid for. If we ever stop offering MiniRemote, we'll announce it in advance.
Warranty and liability
If you're a consumer, you have the statutory rights for digital content and services. Apart from that, MiniRemote is provided as it is.
We're fully liable for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we're liable only for breaching an obligation essential to this agreement, and only up to the damage typically foreseeable at the time. Beyond that, our liability is excluded as far as the law allows. Keep backups of important data: remote control and AI agents can change things on your Mac.
iPhone and iPad app
If you got the viewer from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. We, not Apple, are responsible for the app and its support.
Law, disputes and changes
Croatian law applies, without the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you're a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection of the country where you live still applies, and you can bring a claim there. For businesses, the courts in Zagreb, Croatia, have jurisdiction.
If something goes wrong, write to us first and we'll do our best to sort it out. We aren't obliged to take part in alternative dispute resolution before a consumer dispute body, and don't do so.
We may update these terms. We'll tell you about important changes in advance; they apply to subscriptions from the next billing period, and you can cancel before then.
